Diane Gioioso is former faculty of the Maryland University of Integrative Medicine. She taught in the Masters MOM and Doctoral (DOM) degree program as acupuncture faculty. She also served in the Chinese Herb Program as an instructor of specialty topics. In the past she was also faculty in MUIH’s Women’s Health Post Graduate Certification.
She has presented acupuncture and Chinese herb classes on topics of women’s health from menarche to menopause, both to the Chinese medical profession and larger birth community.
She has taught Chinese Medical history and a comprehensive course on Primary Channels. Diane has developed a general course on the Luo channels, and their application to childhood and adult development. Other topics have included a wide range of interests: Pediatrics to Morphology to Healing from Trauma. Past topics of instruction are available on request. On request she is available for lecture to groups and organizations.
She provides mentorship for individual practitioners and small groups. This can be focused Chinese medical topics or case review.
